Stephen C. Coen is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington where he received a B.A. in Political Science in 1983. He received his J.D. in 1986 from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served on the Law Review and was awarded the Outstanding Third Year Student award.

Mr. Coen has over 20 years of tax experience, including employment as an Internal Revenue Service attorney. Additionally, he held an appointment as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney, representing the United States in bankruptcy court, and received an Outstanding Achievement Award (1987-1989) from the United States Attorney for his service.

Mr. Coen is a lecturer and guest speaker for bar, CPA and enrolled agent associations. He is a reviewing editor for Practitioner Publishing Company’s Dealing with the IRS and Guide to Asset Protection Planning. Mr. Coen was named one of Tarrant County’s Top Attorneys by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine in 2001-2005.
